I've been blessed with introspection again. Oddly enough, it comes from the same space....I'm checking out the tail end of the Butterfly Effect on the Starz free weekend. In the course of this, I've come to realize that there are some seemingly cruel jokes played upon us during life in various situations. In these situations, we play our parts as well as can be expected, living our lives the best we can, yet things we really want seem to slip through our fingers no mater how tight we may hold on.
For example, I now understand that no matter how much you would give up for someone, if their heart is not in it, nothing could change the outcome that came to pass. there was a time when I would have given anything at all away in order to ensure my continued happiness with Shauna (and others as well...well, at least Sam, looking back on things now), but now I see that nothing I could have done would have changed the outcome, perhaps just delayed it. AMEN, that is %100 true. but it is not fate that gives the outcome it is God. he knows who we are supposed to be with and what we are supposed to do with our lives and no matter what path we chose. the easy one or long hard one, they both come out at the same spot.
